We tailor our product offerings to your needs. Some companies are looking for a simple brochure site, while others need a full-featured content management system. We have a diverse design and development background and are able to build a variety of different products to suit your individual needs.
WordPress Sites
If you are looking to save money, a great option is to choose and customize an existing WordPress template. WordPress is a powerful content management system that allows for a modern and client updatable design for a very affordable price. Most WordPress sites range between $350 and $600. Some may be as much as $1800 or more depending on the desired level of customization and interactivity.
Custom Web Designs
If a site template is not what you have in mind, we can build a custom site for you. A custom site is built from scratch and you will have complete control over layout, colors, fonts and images. A small, custom brochure site can be built for $500 or less, but most of our custom sites fall into the $1200 to $5000 range depending on the features that you require. A custom HTML site is not dynamic and will not allow you to make your own changes. All future maintenance and upgrades would be implemented by Spruce Creek Multimedia.
Custom Drupal Websites
If you desire a custom built site with all of the functionality of a full-featured content management system, then a Drupal site is for you. Drupal is a popular, open source, content management system that allows for enhanced functionality and greater expandability. You will have complete control over layout, colors, fonts and images and with Drupal you will have the ability to log in and make your own updates and changes.
Most Drupal websites fall into the $1500 to $10,000 range.
The Process
If you are interested in having Spruce Creek build a website for you or your company, we will sit down for a free consultation. After this meeting we will submit an estimate for you. If you like the price, we will sign a contract and get to work. All of our projects are based on our $75 hourly rate and there is a $350 per site minimum charge.
Designing Your Site
The first step of our design process is obtaining your web address. If you have already set this up, you are already ahead of the game, if not, we will be happy to take care of this for you.
During the design process we will first build a design concept. This is an image file that shows you the appearance of the site without any of the functionality. You are free to make any changes you would like at this point in the process and we will change the concept.
Once we have agreed on a design, we will start developing the actual site. We will provide you with a web address to monitor the progress at all times. Once you have approved the final design, the site will be launched.
Hosting and Maintenance
If you do not already have hosting set up, we can host your site for you. Our hosting is charged on a monthly basis. Your monthly fee will depend on the features and size of your website.
Do you have a plan for maintenance and updates? We are more than happy to maintain and update your site for you for a fee, but we also can build a site that you can easily maintain and update on your own. We offer monthly maintenance packages but can also update your site for you on an hourly basis.
