Cinematic Wedding Films
You have thought of every detail. You have planned for months, maybe even years. The flowers, the dress, the reception are all arranged and your day is finally here. And then, in a flash, it is over.
Every bride that I have talked to has been amazed at how fast the wedding day was over. Many are left wondering what details they missed as everything went flying by. Wedding photography does a great job of capturing important moments, but nothing lets you relive your entire day like a carefully crafted wedding film.
Wedding Cinema and Photography in One Easy Package
Ryan has been creating wedding films for twenty years now. Since 2008, Ryan’s films all were produced under the Spruce Creek Multimedia banner. In early 2011, Ryan joined forces with a local photographer who shared his creative vision and passion for capturing the emotion from the biggest moments from a couples’ wedding day. The photographer, Jeremy O’Donnell, had been running his studio, O’Donnell Portrait, for a number of years. When Ryan and Jeremy started to work together the idea for a new kind of wedding services business came to fruition.
In our experience, the best wedding photography and cinematographer is produced when the photographer and the videographer are on the same page and working toward the same goal. We loved the idea of working together and came up with the name Fotocinethesis for our new endeavor. Check out the Fotocinethesis website to book your date or for more information.

Our Process
Our wedding films start long before your wedding day. We take time to get to know the couple, figure out their likes and dislikes, and hear their story before we ever press the record button. Your wedding film is not only the story of your big day, it is also the story of you and your fiancee and, ultimately, is prologue to your lives together.
Once we get to know each other, we plan the particulars of the shoot to ensure that we capture all of the important elements of the story. We develop a detailed schedule for the event, cultivate a list of important people to capture on video and figure out where we can add something fun and unique.
When your day arrives we begin the process of documenting all of the details and capturing all of the moments. This is no simple task. We use multiple cameras, lots of cool cinema gear, and switch setups regularly. We capture crisp, clean audio from multiple microphones and snap some high-resolution images to use on the DVD cover, the title screens or the credits of your final product.
Our style is to keep the “cheese” level out of our films as much as possible. We believe that the real emotion comes from the faces and reactions of those we film, not from slow-motion effects, freaky transitions and sappy music.
We also believe strongly that the best moments occur naturally. Unless special circumstances demand it, we try not to film staged or posed moments. We like to be ready to capture your day naturally, as it happens. Because of this, we are able to be relatively unobtrusive throughout the course of your day.
All of our videos are filmed in High Definition (HD) and our equipment bears trusted names such as Canon, Nikon, Sony, Steadicam, Cinevate, Lowell, and Lectrosonics.
